Call for Presenters

     The MN American Indian Mental Health Advisory Council is seeking quality Presenters for our conference at Black Bear Casino Resort in Carlton, MN on June 22-24, 2011. If you are interested in presenting, please develop a proposal as described below and submit to Bunny Jaakola for review by replying to this email.

Conference Theme:
"Our Tribal Children--Our Tribal Future"

     Your proposal must relate to the conference theme: American Indian children's mental health or coping methods for parents.

Specify the following:

Presentation title
Presenter(s) names, experience with the topic, 3-4 sentence bio, and credentials,(if applicable).

Two to four learning objectives
Synposis of presentation in five sentences or less.  Three to five paragraphs describing the presentation in more detail.  Length of presentation (30 to 90 minutes for one presentation or a two-part presentation up to 120 minutes plus a break).

Equipment needed, special requests, speaker fee (if any).  Lead presenter contact info (both phone number and email).

The 2011 Conference will be hosted by the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa at the Black Bear Casino Resort in Carlton, MN.
